Patrons on a payment plan only receive tickets and QR codes after their final payment. Until the plan is Completed, their spot is reserved but they can’t be checked in.

1
Open the scanner
On the event Overview tab, click Scan tickets, then choose Scan with Web.
2
Allow camera access
Your browser will ask for camera permission. Grant access to scan QR codes from patron phones or printed tickets.
3
Scan tickets
Point the camera at the patron’s QR code. Each scan shows the ticket holder’s name and a Check In button. If the ticket was already scanned, it reads Already Checked In.
Scan with Mobile App
The Taack scanner app is designed for door staff who aren’t logged into the full dashboard. Staff download the iOS or Android scanner app, then use a 6-digit event code to access your event.1
Generate an event code
On the event Overview tab, click Scan tickets, then choose Scan with Mobile App. Taack generates a six-digit event code for this event.
2
Share the code with staff
Give the code to your door team.
3
Staff enter the code and their name
Each person opens the scanner app and enters the six-digit code. The app then asks for their name so you know who checked in each patron. No account or sign-in is required.
4
Scan tickets
The app opens a camera scanner. Each scan shows the ticket holder and a Check In button, or Already Checked In if the ticket was used.
5
Use the guest list
Staff can open the guest list to search for a patron by name and check them in manually — useful when a patron doesn’t have their QR code handy.
6
End the session
Tap Stop Scanning when the shift ends.
