# Use Taack with AI assistants

> Connect Claude or ChatGPT to your Taack committee to manage events, tickets, sales, and payment plans in plain language.

The Taack connector lets an AI assistant work with your committee's events on your behalf. You ask in plain language, and the assistant reads or updates your Taack data through the connector.

It's built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard that AI apps use to connect to other services. The server address is:

## Who it's for

The connector is for the owner of a committee on Taack. It lets you set up events and check sales from a chat instead of clicking through the dashboard. Invited team **Members** and **Admins** can't connect. Patrons can't use it to buy tickets.

## What you can ask

Here are a few things you can say once you're connected:

* "Create a draft event called Carnival Friday Fete on 13 February at 8 PM at Queen's Park Savannah."
* "Add 200 General tickets at 250 TTD and 50 VIP tickets at 600 TTD."
* "How are ticket sales going for Carnival Friday Fete?"
* "Who's behind on their payment plan, and by how many days?"
* "What payment-plan money is due in the next 30 days?"

Use the dashboard for anything in the right-hand column.

  Events you create through the connector are always **private drafts**. Patrons can't see them until you ask the assistant to publish, or you publish from the dashboard. Review the event before it goes public.

## Security and data access

* **Committee owners only.** Sign in with the account that owns the committee. The connector uses OAuth. Your AI app opens a Taack sign-in page, and you approve access there. You never paste a password or API key into the assistant.
* **Access stays within your committee.** The connector sees only the events and data your account can already manage. It can't reach other committees, and invited **Members** and **Admins** can't use it.
* **No IDs to share.** You never give the assistant a committee ID or user ID. Taack works out who you are from your sign-in.
* **Drafts first.** The connector creates every new event as a private draft. Nothing goes public until you ask for it.
* **Patron data stays for your follow-up.** Payment-plan tools return patron names and email addresses so you can follow up yourself. The connector can't send messages to patrons. For saved cards, it shows only the card brand and last four digits.

To stop an AI app from using your Taack account, disconnect or remove the Taack connector in that app's settings.
