# Connect Claude

> Add the Taack connector to Claude.ai, Claude Desktop, or Claude Code.

Connectors you add in Claude.ai also appear in Claude Desktop, so you only need to set up Taack once for both.

## Before you begin

* The Taack account that owns the committee. Invited **Members** and **Admins** can't connect.
* A Claude account. Connectors work on Free, Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise. Free accounts can add one custom connector.

## Claude.ai and Claude Desktop

        In Claude, go to **Settings** and select **Connectors**.

        Click **Browse connectors** and search for **Taack**.

        Click **Connect**. A Taack sign-in page opens.

        Sign in with your Taack account and approve access. You return to Claude when you're done.

        Click **Add custom connector**. Enter **Taack** as the name and this URL as the server address:

        Leave the advanced OAuth fields empty.

        Click **Add**, then **Connect** next to Taack.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Sign in and approve">
        Sign in with your Taack account and approve access. You return to Claude when you're done.

<Note>
  If **Taack** doesn't appear in the directory yet, use the **Custom connector** tab. Both paths use the same server and the same Taack sign-in.

<Note>
  On Claude Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner or Primary Owner adds the connector before members can use it. In **Organization settings**, open **Connectors**, click **Add**, then **Custom**, then **Web**, and enter the server address. Each person still signs in with the Taack account that owns the committee.

### Turn it on in a chat

In a new chat, open the tools menu and check that the **Taack** toggle is on. Then try:

> "Show me my upcoming Taack events."

## Claude Code

    Run this in your terminal:

    claude mcp add --transport http taack https://mcp.taack.app/mcp
    ```

    Add `--scope user` to make Taack available in every project, not only the current one.

  <Step title="Sign in">
    Start Claude Code, run `/mcp`, select **taack**, and choose to authenticate. Your browser opens a Taack sign-in page.

  <Step title="Approve access">
    Sign in with your Taack account and approve access. Return to Claude Code. `/mcp` now shows Taack as connected.
