# Introduction

> What Taack is, who it's for, and how organizers and patrons use the platform.

Taack is a Caribbean event ticketing platform. Organizers get an event page, online checkout, and payouts to a local bank account. Patrons get a simple way to find events and manage their tickets.

You can use it for a fete in Trinidad, a concert in Jamaica, or a virtual workshop for a regional audience.

## Who uses Taack?

    If you host events, you operate under a **committee** — your organizer brand on Taack. From your dashboard you create events, configure tickets, manage your team, and track sales.

    Typical organizers include promoters, venue hosts, community groups, and corporate event planners across Trinidad, Jamaica, and the wider Caribbean.

    If you attend events, you use Taack to browse events, buy tickets, and manage your passes from your account. You don't need a committee — just a patron profile when you check out.

## What you can do on Taack

## How the platform is organized

Every organizer account is tied to a **committee** — your brand on Taack. Your committee has a public page where patrons can see your upcoming and past events.

Each **event** has its own page with a flyer, date, location (physical or virtual), ticket types, and a checkout flow.

**Patrons** are the people who buy or request tickets. They manage their tickets under **My Tickets** in their account.
